Homemade granola

This is a very easy recipe for a yummy and healthy granola. I personally like granola by itself, but you can have it with yogurt or with some milk.

Ingredients :

-200g of oats

– 50g of hazelnuts

– 50g of almonds

– 25g of grated coconut

-30g of chocolate chunk

-40g of coconut oil

-40g of agave syrup or honey

This is my favorite recipe but you can always play with different ingredients: dried fruits, spices, pecan nuts… it’s really up to you & your preferences!

Steps:

First, preheat the oven at 180 degrees.

Next, you need to chop the almonds and hazelnuts.
Simply put them in the Thermomix bowl, 5 seconds speed 4. You can keep it going a bit longer if you want tinier pieces of nuts.
If you don’t have a Thermomix, you can easily crush your nuts by putting them in a multi-purpose bag and step on it or use a heavy object to do so (but using your foot will be much faster and easier).

Then, you only have to mix all the ingredients together! Didn’t I told you it was super easy?

Once it’s all well mixed, spread the preparation on a baking sheet on an even layer, put it in the oven and let it cook for about 25 minutes, depending on your oven.
When slightly golden-brown colored, the granola should be ready.

Take it out of the even and let it cool down completely, which should take around 1 hour.

Once at room temperature, you can take it and break it into chunks of the size you like. Granola is very easy to keep in airtight jar. Enjoy!
